A happy accident nearly 30 years ago put me on a career path in wealth management and changed my life’s direction. Initially drawn to investment banking, a friend suggested that I speak with an “Investment Banker” they knew – who actually turned out to be an Investment Manager. In that conversation, I was instantly hooked on the idea of helping people manage their financial well being over time. 

My interest in finance and desire to make a difference in the lives of others made this vocation a perfect fit, and opened a whole new world for me. I began my career as a Portfolio Manager and Research Director at an independent investment counselling firm, then went on to found a national investment advisory practice at Ernst & Young. In 2003, I joined the boutique firm T.E. Wealth (now CWB Wealth), where I introduced the proprietary Prosperity™ Investment Platform and led the firm into the Indigenous Services market. 

Today, I oversee CWB Wealth’s wealth management business for Eastern Canada and continue to advise high-net-worth client families. Having been a client-facing professional for many years, I bring this perspective to mentoring our advisors and collaborating on strategic initiatives with our management team. I enjoy the diversity of my role, which balances client interactions with collegial relationships.

I still oversee and help grow our Indigenous Advisory practice which, as of today, looks after over 50 Indigenous communities across Canada. Being able to give back and help Indigenous communities with their finances continues to be an extremely rewarding experience. 

I earned my B.A. in Statistics from Western University and my MBA in Finance from McMaster University. I also hold the Chartered Financial Analyst^® (CFA^®) designation.
