“Life is complicated, but your finances don’t have to be. Through simplified, holistic guidance, I support clients in their goals so they can secure financial freedom and generational wealth."
My journey into financial planning started in an unexpected place—while I was looking for my first home. I met a mortgage specialist who completely changed how I thought about finances. She was knowledgeable, approachable, and had a way of simplifying everything that made me feel confident and supported. That experience stuck with me and inspired me to pursue a career where I could combine my love of learning with helping others reach their goals.
With a Bachelor of Commerce and a background in journalism, I started small, taking a few entry-level banking courses. Those early steps turned into a rewarding career in finance, where I’ve been able to help people make sense of their money and build financial security.
Today, as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), I focus on structuring income, investments, taxes, and estate plans in a way that works for my clients. I take a personalized approach, using strategies that are proven to work but tailoring them to fit each person’s unique needs. I like to think of myself as a “financial buddy”—someone my clients can trust to make their financial lives easier and more manageable.
What I love most about my work is seeing my clients reach their milestones. Whether it’s lowering tax bills, planning for retirement, or building a legacy for the next generation, knowing I’ve helped them get there is what keeps me passionate about what I do.
Beyond the Office
When I’m not working, I’m spending time with my family. Friday night movie nights with my wife and two kids are a weekly highlight that we mix with popcorn and classic and new films. I’m also a history buff, a book lover, and an amateur writer who enjoys creative projects in my downtime. As for food, I proudly call myself a “chickentarian”—a semi-vegetarian who can’t resist a good chicken dish.
