Jojo Mitchell, PFP®, CFP®, FCSI®, RIS®
Senior Manager and Client Lead, Financial Education and Employer Services
Jojo enriches the financial well-being of corporate executives and their employees through seminars, online webinars and targeted counselling sessions that address important financial planning topics. Whether working with teams or individuals, the guidance she offers promotes peace of mind by helping people articulate and achieve their financial goals today, and in retirement.
Jojo’s natural empathy flows in part from her own experiences as a new Canadian. Arriving in the country in 2003, she was initially overwhelmed by activities like opening a bank account and starting an RRSP. Now, a seasoned industry professional, Jojo easily connects with clients beginning their own wealth management journeys, helping them plan a better financial future.
Her career spans more than 15 years and includes a variety of positions, with almost a decade in wealth management. She holds several industry designations, including PFP, CFP®, FCSI and RIS. Jojo has been consulted as a financial planning subject matter expert for various projects with the Canadian Securities Institute, and acted as Vice Chair on their PFP exam review committee. She also contributed CFP exam items for FP Canada, to help ensure the content remains relevant for wealth management professionals working with the public.
