"My passion is helping Indigenous communities achieve financial independence and literacy by levelling the playing field, so they can secure a brighter future."

As a Henvey Inlet First Nation member and Trustee for two of the community’s Trusts, I understand the unique challenges many communities face. With over 25 years of experience as a finance executive across non-profit, private, and public organizations, I bring a depth of knowledge in crafting tailored wealth management strategies.

Throughout my career, primarily in CFO roles for public companies, I’ve navigated the complexities of financial management and received both a fellowship designation and life membership from the Chartered Professional Accountants Association.

After years of success in the corporate world, I had reached a point where I knew I needed a change–something that would bring me both personal fulfillment and a chance to make a real difference in a community that I am deeply connected to. That decision led me to join T.E. Wealth Indigenous Services team in 2022, where I now partner with communities to build financial sovereignty and autonomy while preserving wealth for future generations.

I believe we are witnessing an unprecedented wealth transfer among Indigenous peoples, and my experience in managing large-scale wealth allows me to help communities navigate this moment effectively, with a focus on creating sustainable, long-term value.

I take pride in bringing an independent approach to every engagement, helping communities establish informed investment strategies and ensuring their money is managed responsibly and transparently.

Beyond the Office

When I’m not travelling across the country to meet with communities, I enjoy spending time with my wife of 40 years and our two daughters. I’m an avid cyclist and golfer, and I love staying active outdoors. Balancing my professional commitments with personal pursuits keeps me grounded and energized.
