“Investing in the world’s economy is one of the wisest ways to secure your and your family’s financial future.”

I work with a variety of individuals who have financial planning needs in both Canada and abroad. My client base includes professional athletes, entrepreneurs, and corporate executives. My approach is to lay out all options for an individual, and then discuss the pros and cons of each so that my clients can make informed decisions.

After working as an intern with Ernst & Young LLP, I went on to article there and earn my Chartered Accountant (CA) designation. After becoming a CA, I had my first exposure to the cross-border issues facing U.S. and Canadian expatriates, an area in which I now specialize. I later joined BDO Canada LLP, eventually working my way up to a senior manager role in BDO’s U.S. tax department. I joined CWB Wealth under one of their legacy firms to broaden my horizons, and to offer my clients a full complement of financial planning services.

I hold the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and Chartered Investment Manager® (CIM®) designations. I earned an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen’s University, and while there I was a perennial member of the Dean’s Honour List as well as an academic scholarship recipient.

Beyond the Office

Years ago, I volunteered with the Kingston Frontenacs Hockey Club and eventually became an Ontario Hockey League scout with the Ottawa 67s. My passion for hockey continues as a minor hockey coach.
